Exhibitor Terms & Conditions
Organised by Brand Day (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
1. Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
- “Event” refers to Malaysia Brand Day (MBD) and all related activities, programmes, exhibitions, conferences, campaigns, and promotions.
- “Organiser” refers to Brand Day (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, including its officers, employees, agents, and appointed contractors.
- “Participant” includes visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, partners, media representatives, contractors, and any individual attending or participating in the Event.
- “Venue” refers to the official event venue(s), including Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Malaysia Brand Day website, registering for the Event, entering the Venue, or participating in any activity related to Malaysia Brand Day, you acknowledge, accept, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines issued by the Organiser.
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, you should refrain from registering for or attending the Event.
3. Event Rules & Conduct
All Participants shall:
- comply with all rules, regulations, instructions, and safety measures issued by the Organiser and the Venue;
- conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner;
- refrain from any activity that may disrupt, damage, or negatively affect the Event, the Organiser, other Participants, or the Venue.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any Participant who violates these Terms & Conditions without refund or compensation.
4. Registration & Access
- Registration is required for entry and participation in Malaysia Brand Day.
- The Organiser reserves the right to approve, reject, revoke, or cancel any registration at its sole discretion.
- Access credentials, badges, or passes are non-transferable and must be worn or displayed at all times during the Event.
5. Exhibitors, Sponsors & Partners
Exhibitors, sponsors, and partners shall:
- comply with all exhibitor manuals, operational guidelines, and contractual obligations issued by the Organiser;
- ensure that all displays, activities, and materials comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- be fully responsible for their own products, services, personnel, and promotional activities.
The Organiser reserves the right to modify booth allocation, layout, or event programming where necessary for operational or safety reasons.
6. Promotions, Campaigns & Gift Redemption
- Participation in any promotion, campaign, lucky draw, giveaway, or gift redemption during Malaysia Brand Day is subject to specific terms and conditions imposed by the Organiser and/or participating exhibitors, sponsors, partners, or contractors.
- By participating or redeeming any gifts, Participants acknowledge and agree to such applicable terms and conditions.
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or substitute any promotion or gift without prior notice.
7. Photography, Videography & Media Recording
By attending or participating in Malaysia Brand Day, Participants consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and grant the Organiser the right to use such images, videos, or recordings for promotional, publicity, marketing, documentation, and reporting purposes, in any media format, worldwide, without compensation or further consent.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to Malaysia Brand Day, including but not limited to event names, logos, branding, content, materials, and media, remain the property of the Organiser or its licensors.
No Participant may reproduce, distribute, or use such materials without prior written consent from the Organiser.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience suffered by any Participant in connection with the Event.
- Participants attend and participate in the Event at their own risk.
- The Organiser shall not be responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings, exhibits, or equipment.
10. Indemnity
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser, Venue, sponsors, partners, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
- their participation in the Event,
- breach of these Terms & Conditions, or
- violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights.
11. Force Majeure
The Organiser shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of the Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government actions, pandemics, natural disasters, strikes, or security threats.
The Organiser reserves the right to reschedule, modify, suspend, or cancel the Event in such circumstances.
12. Amendments & Updates
The Organiser reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in Malaysia Brand Day constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
